Salary Hikes in IT Companies: TCS to start with!

Is slowdown over? well there is no exact unit or equation to measure. There are various Stress tests based on which at least slow down can be measure quantitatively.

There is another measure most of the time can be taken as sign of slowdown over. that is salary hike! well just look around and see if salary hikes in most of the top tier companies whether started!

Recently TCS has declared salary hike’s for 2010 post q4 results. TCS has decided to give salary hike during FY 2010-2011. However the exact amount of salary TCS salary increment is yet to be decided.

It is believed that TCS employees have been living with no salary hikes for last one year due to recession.

Now sounds that good times are back again for approx. 1,50,000 TCS employees. TCS salary hike 2010 has been annouced after Infosys has done recently.

Lets hope that TCS foot prints will be followed by other companies as well!
